Week 7 Review

This week in tech arts we burnt tea bags and observed the results, predicted, explained and question what if we changed something.  Then we burnt them with double the height, triple the thickness and them folded up.  Not all of our experiments worked how we wanted them to. When there was a certain amount of tea bag left it lifted off the ground into the air until there was nothing left to burn and the ashes floated down.

In maths we learnt about polygons.  I have learnt heaps more than I have in all my other school years I think.  We also did a revision of triangles and I finished first.  I am finding maths easier and easier to understand.  In reading we learnt about themes. I found the worksheet relatively easy although I have to remember to write more than one word for the themes. While I was doing read theory on Thursday I could see that I am improving with answering question from the text.

On Thursday I didn't go to band due to my wrist. I sprained it and I ended up having to not participate in a few activities. I still could go to extension art and I enjoyed being there.  I an doing a collarge of a cherry and a pear. I have worked hard on this and it looks really good so far.  A lady called Jenny de groot came in to teach us how to do this.
